The 'Flying Scotsman' has a very long history (still going strong!) and is an iconic British steam engine, with a handsome, 'brute strength' appeal - hence this is the first model I created. An example of Gresley's 'Pacific' series Class A1, later upgraded to Class A3, which remained in passenger service until 1966. |  |
